Updates on Historical Jewish Press Site
Historical Jewish Press - עיתונות יהודית היסטורית, a joint digitization project founded by the Jewish National and University Library (Jerusalem), the Tel Aviv University and the Library of the Alliance Insraelite Universelle (Paris), contains three new newspapers. Within the section Jewish Press in Arab Lands L'Avenir Illustré (publ. 1926-1940 in Casablanca/Morocco) and Israël (publ. 1920-1939 in Cairo/Egypt) were added. Within the section The 19th Century Hebrew Press Ha-Levanon - הלבנון (publ. 1863-1886 in Jerusalem/Palestine et al) was added.
