Jewish Women: A Comprehensive Historical Encyclopedia
The Jewish Women's Archive (JWA), Brookline launches an outstanding resource for research in Jewish history and woman studies. Since March 1st 2009 1,700 biographies, 300 thematic essays, and 1,400 photographs and illustrations are available online as Jewish Women: A Comprehensive Historical Encyclopedia. "The Encyclopedia contains content from over 1,000 independent scholars on a wide range of Jewish women through the centuries—from Gertrude Berg to Gertrude Stein; Hannah Greenbaum Solomon to Hannah Arendt; the Biblical Ruth to Ruth Bader Ginsburg."
