The G. Eric and Edith Matson Negatives contain 20,000 glass and film photographic negatives, created by the American Colony Photo Department and its successor firm, the Matson Photo Service from 1898 to 1946 in what was then Palestine. More than 13,700 glass plate and film negatives are accessible online as digital positives. The collection is part of the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division.
